Every visual artist needs to visit Tokyo, at least once in your lifetime.

If you’ve been to Tokyo already then you already know. There’s some really inspiring about the shrines, large boulevards of stores, bright lights of Shinjuku and Shibuya that really leave a lasting effect on you as a visitor. sometimes it’s the food or the Japanese pop culture appreciation that really makes Japan shrine. but I think it’s just everything together in a city done right that makes Japanese design is perfect.

is Tokyo overrated because all the anime fans, Japanese history lovers? No, that was i thought that held me back from enjoying this great megacity. and I finally see it’s everything I imagined and more.

Art inspiration: as many of my favorite visual artist of Japanese naturally, this city is the most visually inspiring one to me. I can see the direct source that inspired the video games I played, films and anime I watched.
